DNA barcode reference library for European ants published
Out in Molecular Ecology Resources. 6,530 sequences covering 506 species, 209 of them sequenced for the first time, alongside an updated checklist of the European fauna and an atlas of mitochondrial diversity.
MYNA-OUT funded by IUCN
A grant from IUCN Save Our Species, through the European Invasive Alien Species Rapid-Response Fund, to detect, monitor and eradicate the common myna from Italy while the invasion is still small enough to stop.

AntTRAILS began in Berlin, in Bonnie Blaimer’s lab at the Center for Integrative Biodiversity Discovery.
CSIC Relevant Thesis Award
Awarded by the Spanish National Research Council for the year 2024. Ten given nationally.
UPF PhD Thesis Extraordinary Award
Awarded by Pompeu Fabra University for the academic year 2023 to 2024. Eight given from 78 theses defended.
Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship awarded
Funding confirmed for AntTRAILS, on the genomic traces human history left in Mediterranean ants.

Excellent cum laude at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, later awarded the UPF Extraordinary Award and the CSIC Relevant Thesis Award.
